Level 5:

A Child's Voice

Rice, John Paul

2018, June 8

From Unsung Films review:

A Child’s Voice, much like Bravo’s previous films, carries a title that very literally describes the film’s plot. A child (Jonathan Matthew Wilson) is kidnapped and murdered, but his voice reaches Tim (Joey Burke), a homeless drug addict who is in constant trouble. It is this little boy’s voice that helps Tim out and brings him together with Kristy (Angela Mavropoulos), a girl desperately searching for her mother and being hunted down by her now turned child-trafficker boyfriend. Everything outside the little boy — Jacob — Tim and Kirsty is ugly and sickening. But these three souls are gentle and tender, keeping close together, physically or mentally, managing to undo very little of the damage, but ultimately setting a bit of the world right and promising to never stop doing so.
